Nursery:

• Core Day - 8:45am to 3:15pm

Foundation 2 to Year 6:

• Our School Day starts at 8.45am
• Morning Playtime is from 10.35am to 10.50am
• Lunchtime is from 12.00 to 1.00pm
• Key Stage 1 Afternoon Playtime is from 2.00pm to 2.15pm
• Our School Day ends at 3.15pm

We also run an extended provision in the morning from 7:00am to 8:45am and in the afternoon/evening from 3:15pm to 6:00pm.

At Hucknall Flying High Academy our School day starts at 8.45 am when a whistle is sounded on the playground and children line up with their class to be brought into school by a member of the teaching staff. Children come straight into their classrooms and registration is completed.

Lessons begin promptly after registration and it is important that lessons are not disrupted by late arrivals as children who are late miss important introductions to lessons.

Children have a 15 minute morning playtime

Lunch is from 12.00 noon to 1.00 pm.

All children benefit from a variety of dishes freshly cooked on the premises. Each day there are two options to choose from, one of these is always a vegetarian option.

Facilities are available for children bringing packed lunches and they can enjoy their meal in the dining room with the other children, when school dinners are served.

The School day ends at 3.15 pm when parents collect their children from the nearest exit to their child's classroom.
