Year 3

Miss Cawley - Class Teacher

Hello! My name is Miss Cawley, and I’m thrilled to be teaching Year 3 this year. While it’s hard to choose just one favourite subject, I absolutely love teaching writing and hearing the creative ideas that the children come up with. I have an appreciation for children's picture books, especially those with beautiful illustrations. One of my all-time favourites is A Planet in a Pickle Jar. As for chapter books, The Land of Roar holds a special place in my heart because it truly sparked my imagination!

My favourite thing about teaching is seeing my classes 'proud moments'. Learning isn't a race against anyone else, try your best, be kind and you'll succeed! 

When I’m not teaching, you’ll often find me watching a great series or planning my next travel adventure. After teaching internationally for five years, I’ve developed a passion for exploring new places and immersing myself in different cultures. I’m always excited to discover something new and meet new people!

Mrs Brown - Teaching assistant

My name is Mrs Brown and I am the teaching assistant in year 3 , I also spend time in other years supporting children with their emotional well being. My favourite subject is art; I love drawing and painting and exploring the different techniques artists use. My favourite book is 'the book thief' by Markus Zusak. When I'm at home I love to spend time with my children. Most weekends are taken over by football which is something we love. I also enjoy going on walks with my 2 springer spaniels Benny and Ruby.
