Miss Wheatley - Class Teacher

Hello! My name is Miss Wheatley and I have the best job as Year 5 teacher. Enquiry is my favourite subject as it opens up the opportunity to explore different aspects of the world within Geography. Likewise, history allows children to explore past events and the impact they have on us today. 

‘Pig Heart Boy’ by Malorie Blackman is my favourite book as it promotes the idea that we are all unique and inspirational in our own way. It also focuses on how young people feel about getting ready for secondary school, with a particular emphasis on relationships, friendships and changes within ourselves.

I am a qualified dance teacher, teaching a variety of styles of dance. I love walking at the weekends with my friends; we challenge ourselves to achieve new peaks. For example, in the summer holidays I climbed Hellvelyn which is one of the tallest peaks in England.

Miss Whitt - Teaching Assistant

Hello! My name is Miss Whitt and I am so happy being the teaching assistant in year 4! My favourite subject in school is Science, as I love experiments and exploring different elements! My favourite book is ‘A squash and a squeeze’ by Julia Donaldson. At home I enjoy going for walks, baking and being with my cat Sooty!
