We run a fabulous 'Extended Provision' at Hucknall Flying High Academy. The times of these are:

Before school – 7:00am until 8:45am

After-school – 3:15pm until 6:00pm

In this provision we provide a wide range of activities including: messy play, sports, crafts, games and ICT. It’s a flexible provision, with a focus on children taking the lead of their learning, but led by a team of adults who have a good knowledge of the curriculum to support the children in their development. We aim to support families with wrap around care but also aim to enhance children's social skills and provide another time and place for children engage with their peers.

At Breakfast Club food is served until 8:30am. Children can have toast, cereal, fruit and/or yogurt.  Before school calm activities and games are available.  At After School Club the children are given a light tea as they arrive and have access to a wide range of activities.  We like to play outside as out as much as possible and go into the hall for games sessions with Next Level Sports.  Fruit and water is always readily available, the caring staff are careful to make to sure all the children's needs are being met whilst encouraging them to become more independent.

Mrs Dempsey who leads the provision is also the school 'Mental Health and Wellbeing Lead'. We feel it’s important to provide a safe, fun place for children, that there is a calm, friendly atmosphere. Additionally, we take on the views of children and parents and aim to continue to improve. We also provide a holiday club throughout the year...

Breakfast club - £5.50,  After School Club - £9. A discount of £1 for additional siblings.

Holiday Club - 9am - 3pm  £15 , 8am - 5pm  £20
