Welcome to your child's Remote Learning page.

 

 There may be short periods of time, where you and your family may have to self-isolate due to Covid-19. To ensure that your child would not miss out on their learning whilst self-isolating at home, we have created a weekly document that reflects the learning taking place in class so that your child can continue learning at home. These documents can be found below within each term's folder. 

 

Each week there will be one sheet detailing:

• Phonics Activities

• Maths Activities & Number of the Week.

• Literacy Activities

• Reading Ideas

• The Weekly Nursery Rhyme.

 

Please remember there is also the weekly Home Learning, sent through Tapestry on a Monday. This is for you to access alongside your child to support and consolidate their learning. 

 

At this stage in the term, we cannot provide the amount of resources that were previously available online as teachers are working full-time in the classroom. However, we will review the timetable each term and continue to ensure that it is working for families and adapt accordingly if needed.

 

All work completed during self-isolation should be recorded onto Tapestry to update the class teacher. They can then review and comment on the activities taking place.

 

Should you require any support with home learning or additional resources to support your child at home, you will be able to use the home learning email, as you did last year during the school closure, and teachers will respond as soon as we can. Our EYFS home learning email is earlyyearshomelearning@hucknallfha.co.uk. However, if it is urgent, please contact the school office via email or phone.
